Emma Farnell-Watson

Associate Choreographer

Emma’s work spans both screen and stage. Drawing from her own dance career working with notable contemporary companies such as Hofesh Shechter and an extensive range of commercial brands, she has developed her own creative language and voice as a maker.

She has choreographed for brands such as Chanel, Magnum, Adidas, Marimekko, Burberry, Bulgari, Mcdonalds, and Marks & Spencer, and for artists such as Freya Ridings, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Jamie Cullum, Hikaru Utada, George Ezra, Baby Queen, Eurovision contestant Claude, and Copenhagen Concerto Orchestra.

Stage work includes: English National Ballet’s Youth Company; Immersive Theatre Company RIFT; live work at Cannes Film Festival in collaboration with Magnum; a new creation for Rambert Dance Company with Emma Evelein; and assisting on FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, winner of 3 Olivier Awards and nominated for Best Choreography).

TV work includes: AGE OF INNOCENCE, SANDMAN (Netflix); DOPE GIRLS (BBC); and the new HARRY POTTER series as part of the core choreography and movement team.

Her latest short film AMMONIA was commissioned by Sadler’s Wells and featured on the Directors Library, won silver at the 1.4 awards, and was nominated for best short at the National Dance Awards. She is currently assisting on feature film ROOTS MANOEUVRE, directed by Raine Allen-Miller.
